HOW IT PLAYS

1️⃣ Last Call: one player becomes the bartender and rolls the beer mug dice cup before revealing the roll. Every mug standing upright counts as a poured beer, while mugs on their side can be rerolled if the bartender wants to push their luck

2️⃣ Place Your Order: everyone else secretly chooses one or two cards to decide how many beers they want, trying to predict how many mugs the bartender will end up pouring

3️⃣ Cheers... or Jeers: if you ordered more than the bartender poured, they steal your points, and the greediest patron takes a penalty. If the bartender busts by ending with no standing mugs, everyone gets their drinks for free

After several rounds, the player with the most points wins 🏆

WHAT MAKES BEER MUG DICE A KEEPER

The beer mug dice are absolutely the star of the show. I've played plenty of dice games with custom dice, but very few where the physical shape actually changes how you play. Watching the chunky wooden steins wobble before settling upright never gets old, and it's one of those tactile touches that people immediately want to try

Beyond the gimmick, the hidden bidding keeps everyone engaged. While the bartender debates another roll, everyone else is trying to read the table. Are they going to play it safe? Should you sneak in one extra beer? Those little decisions create far more interaction than you'd expect from a fifteen minute game

I also love how portable it is. This is the kind of game that easily fits in a backpack for a brewery, a pub, camping, or a weekend trip. It's just as comfortable being the first game of the night at home as it is being played over a drink with friends

The game is quick to teach, easy to travel with, and plays well anywhere. If you're looking for something a little meatier than a typical filler, it's also a fantastic appetizer before breaking out The Taverns of Tiefenthal and keeping the beer theme rolling all night
